Science of Reading
The science of reading is a collection of research regarding human cognitive development and learning from a wide range of disciplines including neuroscience, education, psychology, and linguistics. It is not one philosophy, but rather a collection of knowledge around learning and cognitive development. Educators can use this information to inform their decisions around reading instruction.
