Elizabeth Elcombe
Elizabeth is the founder of Minnesota Literacy Consulting. She is a licensed reading teacher in St. Paul, MN and holds a Master's degree in early childhood education and Montessori. She has been an educator since 2006 and has worked as a reading and intervention teacher in a large public school district in the metro area since 2020, where she currently works as a Literacy Specialist for grades K-8 in the district's alternative education department. She is an adjunct professor at St. Catherine University where she teaches courses in Montessori and literacy education. In addition to her teaching licenses, she holds an AMS Montessori Children's House credential, and is LETRS (Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling) trained.

Elizabeth is passionate about early literacy and remediating literacy learning challenges using science based reading instruction.

Elizabeth lives in St. Paul with her husband, their two children, two cats, dog, turtle, and a variety of fish.
